1. a cartoon sky on monday. (you know, those days when the sky is so blue and the clouds are so white a perfectly shaped, it looks like it belongs in a cartoon. i love those days.)
2. mandarin orange cranberry scones.
3. homemade disney gumbo. apparently they just give out their recipes. another reason disneyland is the greatest. i got the recipe and my mom made it on sunday.
4. falling asleep to the sound of the ocean outside my window.
5. my mom and i were in the car, preparing to pull out of a parking lot. a guy pulled into the parking lot, and half-way in the driveway his front drivers side tire fell off. it just fell off! i've never seen anything like it. everyone just stared, dumbfounded. it was hysterical.
6. roy rogers (the drink).
7. weather.com predicted freezing temperatures for my ex-sister-in-law's beach wedding ceremony. but it turned out to be a beautiful morning at the beach.
8. a nap on sunday afternoon.
9. finally sitting down to watch jane eyre on sunday night. we only got through the first half. we'll finish it up this week sometime.
10. the wedding luncheon was at this cool restaurant in laguna beach called mozambique. they had these two parrots that they let out of their cage to wander around the entrance area. they were so funny and curious. they were biting the camera lens and trying to pull the silver beads off of my mom's coat.
